Removal of ID Badges from Service

In order to maintain the security of the ID Badging Scheme it is imperative that the Head of Establishment has a robust system in place for destroying badges of staff who leave their place of employment through either retiral or moving to another department within the Council.

Also, when establishments receive new up to date replacement badges, the Head of Establishment should ensure that the old badges of all members of staff be securely destroyed.
